Description |
NOAA's Climate Program Office (CPO) supports competitive research through five major Programs: Climate Observations and Monitoring (COM); Atmospheric Chemistry, Carbon Cycle, and Climate (AC4); Climate Variability and Predictability (CVP); Modeling, Analysis, Predictions, and Projections (MAPP); and Climate and Societal Interactions (CSI).
CPO is currently soliciting proposals for FY 2018 for several interdisciplinary research programs focused on Climate and Societal Interactions. The three competitions covered by the Federal Funding Opportunity are as follows:
1) RISA - South Central Region;
2) COCA/RISA Pilot on Coastal Climate Extension Competition; and
3) IRAP: Decision Support Research on Climate-Sensitive Health Risks (in partnership with RISA).
Applicants are encouraged to partner with NOAA research and services entities in each of these programs. Therefore, interested parties are highly encouraged to learn more about CSI and the specific program priorities for FY18 prior to submitting applications. This information, along with the names and contact information of relevant Competition Managers, is provided in Program information sheets that can be found at the following website.
