Management Board

Joint Ventures are a successful national model of regional partnerships that work to conserve habitat for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people. Partnerships work because of the vision, planning, dedication and actions of people who care. The SFBJV brings together over 100 Bay Area organizations working to protect, restore and enhance wetlands by providing resources such as scientific input, restoration design, communication and outreach, legislative expertise and coordination of funding.

Throughout the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area, our partners have completed more than 150 projects since 1997, resulting in the protection, restoration and enhancement of over 70,000 acres of habitat.

Partner involvement with the SFBJV ranges from being a member of the Management Board to participating in various working committees.
