Description	Statewide Park Program (SPP) competitive grants will create NEW PARKS and NEW RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES in CRITICALLY UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES across California. A PROJECT must involve either DEVELOPMENT or a combination of ACQUISITION and DEVELOPMENT to: 1. CreateaNEWPARK,or 2. EXPANDanEXISTINGPARK,or 3. RENOVATE an EXISTING PARK A PROJECT must include at least one RECREATION FEATURE to be eligible. Examples of RECREATION FEATURES are listed on the next page.
